Sunday Fellowship Dinner – September 30

St. Peter’s will have a Covered Dish Fellowship Dinner following our worship service on Sunday, September 30, 2018.

We will have one service of worship that morning at 10:30 a.m., with our meal to follow immediately afterwards.  Sunday School will meet at 9:30 a.m.

Come to worship and be fed with God’s Word, and come to dinner and be fed with some of the best cooking in the world!  Bring a dish to share with others, and enjoy a wonderful meal among God’s people!  Everyone is welcome!

We are having a cleanup day at the church tomorrow morning (Saturday, 9/22) to clear storm damage in the yard. Anyone who is willing to come and help, please do so. If we can get a good number of workers, we should be able to knock it out in a short amount of time. Don’t forget to bring some gloves and yard working tools!

Also, our United Methodist Men are trying to coordinate getting help to people in the church who need assistance with clean up or repairs at their own homes due to Hurricane Florence.

If you need help, contact the church. We are asking folks to let us know what their particular need is so we can prioritize which needs to address first. Obviously, an issue with water damage in your home, structural damage due to the storm, or a tree on your home would take priority over a need to clear trees or other debris from your property. Please give us as much information as possible so we can address the most pressing needs first.

We will review the requests for assistance, and begin to look at what can be done and when.

Due to the threat of the incoming hurricane, all church activities are cancelled for this week.  This includes:

Tuesday: Handbell Practice, Outreach Meeting.
Wednesday: Communion Service, Choir Practice.
Thursday: Pastor Karl’s Bible Study.
Friday: Men’s Breakfast.

We currently plan to hold church this coming Sunday.

Everyone stay safe!
