St. Peter’s has two women’s groups that meet regularly for fellowship, nurturing, and spiritual growth.
Women of the Church
The Women of the Church is an organized ministry of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church whose purpose is:
- To strengthen the spiritual lives of women through the study and increased knowledge of God’s Word;
- To develop a supportive fellowship with one another and increase in prayer for one another;
- To minister together to the church body; and
- To provide an avenue for outreach to local organizations.
The Women of the Church meet on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Sisters in Christ
Sisters in Christ is a weekly ladies’ fellowship that serves the Lord through studying the Bible, lifting joys and concerns in prayer, and reaching out and serving those in need.
Sisters in Christ meets every Tuesday morning during the school year. They gather at 9:00 a.m. for refreshments, followed by a meeting from 9:30-11:00.
