Ministries

Being a Christian means more than coming to church on Sunday morning.

The Christian faith is best lived out in community with other believers, where we can learn from one another, grow alongside each other, and help bring glory to God together as a family.

Children's Ministry

St. Peter's offers several programs to nurture children in their faith.

Sunday Morning Worship
During Sunday morning worship, Pastor Karl presents a special children's sermon.  He offers a fun object lesson to help them understand Biblical truths on their level. We also have a nursery available for children ages newborn to Pre-K.

During our 11:00 service we have a special Children's Church called "J.O.Y. Club."

Sunday School
No matter your child's age, we have a Sunday School class that's just right for them. Classes meet Sundays at 9:45 a.m.

Vacation Bible School
Each June, St. Peter's holds a week-long Vacation Bible School, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. VBS provides a fun time of games, music, crafts, and learning for children ages 2 through those finishing 6th grade .

Women's Ministry

St. Peter's has two women's groups that meet regularly for fellowship, nurturing, and spiritual growth.

Women of the Church

The Women of the Church is an organized ministry of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church whose purpose is:

  • To strengthen the spiritual lives of women through the study and increased knowledge of God’s Word;
  • To develop a supportive fellowship with one another and increase in prayer for one another;
  • To minister together to the church body; and
  • To provide an avenue for outreach to local organizations.

The Women of the Church meet on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

Sisters in Christ

Sisters in Christ is a weekly ladies' fellowship that serves the Lord through studying the Bible, lifting joys and concerns in prayer, and reaching out and serving those in need.

Sisters in Christ meets every Tuesday morning during the school year.  They gather at 10:00 a.m. for refreshments, followed by a meeting.

Men's Ministry

United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men, also known as the Fishermen of St. Peter’s, meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for a covered-dish dinner and fellowship. All men are invited to attend.

Youth Ministry

United Methodist Youth

The St. Peter’s Youth Group meets every Sunday from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. We come together to learn about Jesus, and to share with one another what life is like in this big, crazy world! Our youth leaders, Mr. Jeff and Ms. Becky, always have something great planned for us!

Youth is open to those in 7th grade through 12th grade.

Please join us this Sunday at 4:30pm – and bring a friend!
